Heading back to school will look different this year, and your personal back-to-school routine might, too. Learning new protocols and prepping the classroom for students is important, but don’t forget the most crucial thing – your own immune support health!

What’s your plan? Tie these tips with our Whole Food Supplements will keep your immune system functioning at the top of its game.

Sleep

We’re all familiar with the “snooze” button, but what if you didn’t need it?

An inconsistent sleep schedule can drain your immune system. Studies show that people who don't get quality sleep or enough sleep are more likely to get sick after being exposed to a virus. Lack of sleep can also affect how fast you recover, if you do get sick, and we know parents and teachers don’t have time for that – especially now.

Tips:

+  Routine. Going to sleep and waking up at the same time every day will help your body get into a natural rhythm.

+  PUT THE PHONE DOWN. No more mindless scrolling. Put your phone down 30 minutes before you go to sleep.

+  Treat Yourself. Pillow mists can help you get a sounder sleep. Do you sniffle all night because of allergies or suffer from asthma? A pillow mist can soothe you, ultimately allowing for a better sleep. Our favorite is lavender.

Exercise

We know it’s hard to make time for consistent exercise, but if you exercise regularly, there's a good chance you're boosting your immune system. Studies show that exercise a few times every week drastically reduces the number of colds you get every year.

Tips

+  Make a schedule. Dedicate three days a week to the exercise(s) of your choice.

+  Mix it up! Make exercise fun. Grab an exercise buddy - either a friend, family member, or pet!

+  Treat Yourself. Take a shopping trip and pick out dedicated workout clothes. Choose something that you feel comfortable in – look great, feel great.

Nutrition & Supplement

You are what you eat! Your immune system relies on white blood cells that produce antibodies to combat bacteria, viruses, and other invaders. Studies have shown that limiting dietary fat helps strengthen immune defenses. While you’re choosing what type of diet works best for you, add supplements to ensure you’re getting the nutrition you NEED.

Tips

A diet healthy in fruits and vegetables is essential for optimum immune health.

Vitamins C, D, and E, as well as beta-carotene, a form of Vitamin A, are key for healthy immune systems. Try our Vitamin-Mineral for a healthy dose of all of these in one step.

+  Begin meal-prepping. Create a grocery list ahead of time and prep your daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals ahead of time.
